Super Furry Animals to give away Christmas MP3
Exclusive b-side, artwork and calendar available
Super Furry Animals are to release a free MP3 of 'The Gift That Keeps Giving' as a Christmas present for fans.

The package, available to download on December 25, also includes an exclusive b-side and brand new artwork by Japanese artist Keiichi Tanaami, who created the cover art for the song's parent album 'Hey Venus!'.

The band are also offering fans access to an online calendar, which will be available from December 17.

The calendar will countdown to New Year's Eve, the date of the group's spectacular at London's Royal Festival Hall, gradually giving away exclusives as the date nears.

Super Furry Animals are also set to headline XFM's Winter Wonderland in Cardiff on December 12, also featuring The Enemy and We Are Scientists.

The party is presented by Acid Casuas (the Cian Ciaran and Kev Tame led side project) events branch SOMBOM and is in collaboration with their London based agents, Brand New Fiction.

After deciding to put on the party, SFA and AC immediately set to trying to recruit two of their favourite techno acts, Andrew Weatherall and Eddie and we were lucky enough to get them onboard.

The event also brings a rare opportunity to see Gruff Rhys behind the decks and Cian Ciaran will also be playing at the event under his Acid Casuals banner and PAPS guise.
